Info.
Nina Testaverde (Italia) is a mixed-media artist whose work creates a dialogue which bridges anthropological research and visual storytelling. Her work reaches across borders to uncover transnational dialogue and relationships amongst world cultures. She trained in Tokyo in the 15th-century art of Kintsugi, and apprenticed in the studio of Nicoletta Gualdi Ceramiche in Rome. Nina’s work has been shown internationally and has been featured in print editions of Visual Art Journal, The Purposeful Mayonnaise, and Urban Art, amongst others. She has recently been researching in the Central Highlands of Mexico on the impact of globalisation on the indigenous Otomi(Hñähñu) and tools of memory in preserving the identity of a colonized culture.
